Whatsapp will not work in these older phones from June 30, 2017

The world’s most popular and favorite messaging App Whatsapp will stop running in some older mobile operating systems from June 30, 2017. The company is removing its support from Whatsapp running on mobile devices and smartphones with these old operating systems (OS). Although earlier this deadline was until December 2016 it has now been extended until June 30, 2017.


Whatsapp has more than 1 billion users worldwide. In January 2009, Facebook launched this messaging app for $ 19.3 billion in February 2014. So if you have a phone running in the OS listed below, you might not be able to use Whatsapp further.

If your phone runs on any of the operating systems given above, then you may not be able to enjoy Whatsapp after June 30, 2017. The company is completely eliminating its support from these OS phones, this means that you will no longer receive Whatsapp updates. Because of which your Whatsapp app will be expiring soon and your services will be closed.
