If your want to install your own wordpress Website without using Autoinstaller, Softaculous etc. provided by Hosting Company. You can install wordpress your own way by using FTP account in this post I will tell you how you can setup WordPress on Your Domain Name by using FTP in Step by Step. So Lets get Started.
STEP 1:
If the Step 1 you need some important files such as wordpress installer and MySql Database these two things are very important for installing a wordpress website. So First go to the http://www.wordpress.org and Download the latest version of WordPress. You will download Wodpress in ZIP format extract it on your PC and save all files in your computer. This file contains with all the important files and packages for running wordpress on your domain. Please keep in mind that it is the latest version of wordpress.
STEP 2:
Login to your Hosting account by entering your Username and password that provided by hosting provider and then go to the Database Section and create a new MySql Database and Choose a Database name, Username and Password and then click on create button. Your Database will be create and now don’t do anything on this database. Don’t add any tables on it please leave it blank.
STEP 3:
After creating your Database and Downloading wordpress latest version from it’s official website login to your FTP account by using FTP Software such as SmartFTP, FileZilla etc. and open root folder of your hosting account and choose a path where you want to install wordpress and then upload all extracted files of your wordpress that you downloaded from WordPress Website. Upload the full folder because this folder contains all of your relevant files.
STEP 4:
When all files will be uploaded successfully on your hosting account open any internet browser and then type the url of your domain and path name then type wp-admin ie: http://yourdomainname.com/wp-admin now you will open your wordpress installation url and click on Install button and then enter your MySql database Name, Database User Name, Database Host Name and Database Password and then choose your WordPress Website Name and click install button that’s it. Your WordPress website will be start working after doing these all steps.
STEP 5:
Now Login to your WordPress Website and Choose your theme or you can install new one. Now you are able to install Themes, Plugins and creating new post and page.
