In this post, we will talk about how to Download Aadhaar Card from Official Website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India). For Downloading E-Aadhaar from Official Website of UIDAI, First, go to the official website of UIDAI eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in by using your Desktop or Mobile Browser. If you are using a File downloader software like IDM (Internet Download Manager) then disable the extension from your browsers like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Because E-Aadhaar is an Auto-Generated PDF file so Download manager could not able to find the downloading Path of the file and the file will not be download.

Now open eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in in your browser here you need to enter the Acknowledgement number given on the Acknowledgement Receipt. Also, you need to Date and time of Acknowledgement. Now Enter the full name in the given box then enter the verification (Captcha Code). After Entering all the important details on given form, click on Get one-time Password (OTP) button to get OTP on your registered mobile number.

Now go to your Mobile phone and check the SMS you receive after clicking on Get One Time Password button. Enter OTP in given field in the open window and then click on Validate & Download button to download E-Aadhaar on your device. Now make a print of your Aadhaar card as a Soft Copy.

How to Open E-Aadhaar Card on Your Device

After download E-Aadhaar as a PDF file, It will be locked with a password to Open this file on your computer or mobile then you need to enter the Password. For Old E-Aadhaar PDF file the PIN code is your Password but now the rules are updated with the E-Aadhaar password. For open newly downloaded E-Aadhaar Card, you need to enter 8 Characters of your Name and Date of birth. If your Name is Suresh Kumar and your Date of Birth year is 1990 then you need to enter SURE1990 in the password field. You can also read the instructions given on the E-Aadhaar website.
