Before adding Push Notification on your blog you need to go to the website onesignal.com and create a new free account. Now go to your email that you provide at the time of creating your free account and Verify it by clicking on the given link. Then log in with your Email address and password and create a new app with the name of your blog or website.
Now its time to select the platform which you want to add push notification basically these are the browsers and device platforms so just choose the best option for your app and then proceed, here you need to choose Website Push and then click on Next button. Now choose the popular browser and then click on Next.
Now Enter your website Address and default notification icon URL here. And then choose the best Subdomain. Now choose WordPress and click on Next button again. Now go back to your WordPress admin area and then add a New plugin with the name of OneSignal Push Notification. Install this Plugin on your WordPress blog and activate it.
After Activating this Plugin a New Menu will appear in your WordPress admin area so click on it and Enter the App ID and REST API Key given by the OneSignal after creating the new app. Choose the best settings for the Push Notifications on your Blog or Website then click on Save button given at the bottom of this window.
